William Berry, a son of Henry and Anne Berry, was born in 1721, probably in what is now Essex County, VA and died in 1721. He married Margaret Doughty May 5, 1686. Margaret was a daughter of Enoch Doughty. The family lived in Richmond County, VA.

Benjamin Berry, a son of Joseph and Catherine (Simcock) Berry, was born in Stafford County, VA October 16, 1724. Benjamin and his brothers Joseph and Thomas moved to Frederick County, VA, where Benjamin found Berryville. Benjamin's wife was Elizabeth Thornley.

William Berry, a son of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Thornley) Berry, was born in Frederick County, VA October 26, 1768 and died at Heaters, Braxton County, VA (WV) November 18, 1847. He married Agnes Kitchin in Frederick County. Agnes was born in 1770 and died November 20, 1809.

William married Cynthia Triplett August 12, 1810. Cynthia was born October 17, 1787 and died in Braxton County WV March 2, 1865. The William Berry family arrived in Braxton County VA from Loudon County VA February 26, 1818.

Fielding Lee Berry, a son of William and Agnes (Kitchin) Berry, was born March 12, 1796, probably in Frederick County, VA. He married Elizabeth "Betsy" McPherson in Loudon County VA February 19, 1818. Elizabeth was born in VA about 1799 and died July 16, 1884. Fielding is listed as a cabinet maker in the 1850 Braxton County VA (WV) census.
